So I had a friend who works at Starbucks take reference photos for me to use. This is what I’ve been doing for the past couple of days:

I HATED DOING THE 3DS SO MUCH. I took advice from the last volume of Ken Akamatsu’s Love Hina and decided to make what his staff calls “banking images”, a process in which they have a bank of bare-bone line drawings for each areathat they use over and over again with minor adjustments(I took basically that whole sentence from the bonus pages he labeled The Scenery of Love Hina). I hopefully won’t have to make too many since the only scenes will be at the cafe, the apartments, and at a game store. Banking images is supposed to reduce production time, which in turn will reduce my frustration. I’m going to have to do so many 3DS shots though :C

It’s way less stressful and time-consuming for me to draw people, plants, animals, and other organic things than to draw all this geometric crap. I hate straight lines. 

Don’t be so sad about my previous post, I was just aggravated that I’ve been cooped up drawing all weekend and I haven’t seen my boyfriend the past week, but I did see a friend last Friday and GOT PAID $200 for that commission I posted last. OH YEAH!!
